What began as Sam’s personal passion for property investing has grown into a nationally recognised company that has helped thousands of Australians build strategic property portfolios and work towards financial freedom.
Originally from a farming background in regional New South Wales, Sam entered the property market at 19 and built a portfolio of more than 20 properties in his 20s, allowing him to retire from the traditional workforce early. By age 36, he has developed an impressive portfolio of more than 150 properties through strategic investing across multiple Australian property market cycles.
Through Australian Property Scout, Sam and his team specialise in helping everyday Australians invest with confidence, using the same proven strategies, research processes and long-term wealth principles he applied in building his own portfolio.
Sam’s achievements have earned widespread industry recognition. He was awarded REB Buyers Agent of the Year in 2024 and Industry Thought Leader of the Year in 2026, and has been a finalist for REB Buyers Agent of the Year in 2021, 2022, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Australian Property Scout has also been named REB Diversified Buyers Agency of the Year for 2026 and recognised as a finalist for REB Buyers Agency of the Year in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
Sam was named Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year in both 2024 and 2025, and won the Property & Construction category at the national Australian Young Entrepreneur Awards in 2024. In 2025 he took out the overall Australian Young Entrepreneur of the Year — the first Gold Coast-based founder to claim the national title since 2018.
